19th Century GIM Rounds?

Check out these coins from the first half of the 19th Century, mocking the recessions of that era. I guess they beat us to the punch!

1834: "Credit Perish, Commerce Perish - Down with the Bank"

1837/1857: "Never Keep A Paper Dollar"

One of the great things about the past is that people actually flipped the finger to the rich guy on occasion. It warms my heart to see these. Thanks.

Pretty nifty, are they collectors items?

So.

2008 - 1834 = 176 years of paper dollar dominance

Something tells me there is a trend here. Even if we don't like it.

:bear_w00t: Just think...

150 years from now our GIM rounds will probably be worth a billion Ameros each to collectors.

:D:D:D

Nice find...cute little buggers.
